Direct Technical Assistance and Ag Academy 2022

Memphis Tilth, through a partnership with AgLaunch, is supporting the growth and development of BIPOC farmer livelihoods throughout the Southeastern Region (TN, AR, AL, MS, GA, LA, & SC).

Since July, we have been conducting our Farmer Needs Assessment to understand the needs and barriers of all our local producers (urban and rural). This research is important for us to expand the market of local food producers. We aim to create a more developed, engaged, and equitable local food system.

We will be offering a five-week, cohort-based learning course in these areas starting January 2022,

- Marketing and Communications

- Technology Training

- Government Contracting and Certification

- Public Health Requirements

- Procurement and Supply Chain
